Announcing the 2026 Udemy Outstanding Achievement Award Winners

Most companies talk about learning. But these organizations built it into the operating system of how they work.

The 2026 Udemy Outstanding Achievement Awards recognize the teams using Udemy Business to build skills, embed AI, engage their people, and deliver outcomes that show up in real business results.

“These impactful winners are proving that learning is no longer a side project. It’s the engine behind how organizations grow, adapt, and compete,” said Neeracha Taychakhoonavudh, SVP, Chief Customer Officer, Coursera + Udemy. “Their commitment to continuous upskilling and innovation is inspiring, and we’re proud to support their efforts to prepare teams for an AI-powered future.”

This year’s awards span five categories — AI Pioneer, Engagement Excellence, Learning Excellence, Maximizing Impact, and Skills Transformation — with honors awarded globally and regionally.

Nominations for the awards grew by 50% in 2026, reflecting the growing adoption of the Udemy platform in the enterprise segment and organizations’ increasing investment in a skills-based approach. The selection process recognized innovation and the strong ROI applicants achieved by fostering cohesive and effective learning environments through AI upskilling and reskilling, applying learning  science principles to enhance performance, delivering measurable results, and aligning learning systems with business objectives.

The winners will be honored at Coursera + Udemy FWD events globally alongside winners from the Coursera Outstanding Achievement Awards

Here are the regional winners for each category, plus the global winners whose stories show what happens when learning stops being a department and becomes the way an organization runs.

AI Pioneer Category

Recognizing organizations that go beyond AI experimentation — building AI fluency into how their teams actually work, and turning that fluency into a durable advantage.

Regional Winners

Global Winner: Capgemini

Capgemini, a global business and technology transformation partner with more than 420,000 team members, turned to Udemy to move its workforce from AI awareness to enterprise-wide adoption.

Capgemini consolidated fragmented AI learning into a single AI Campus, launched the ACTIVATE badge program with Udemy-issued credentials, and, as of August 28, engaged 177,718 employees with the AI Campus, issued 144,198 ACTIVATE badges, supported 19,945 AI certifications obtained this year, and enabled 113,347 employees to practice AI skills through Udemy Role Play, creating a validated, scalable baseline of AI capability.

Engagement Excellence Category

Recognizing organizations that weave learning so seamlessly into the workday that it stops feeling like a task and starts feeling like second nature — driving adoption, engagement, and momentum that lasts.

Regional Winners

Global Winner: Bosch Global Software Technologies

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited (BGSW), a wholly owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH, has built a learner-centric and personalized learning ecosystem by integrating Udemy Business with its Learning Experience Platform and competency framework.

Through this strategic approach, BGSW deployed more than 5,000 Udemy Business licenses, achieved 94% active platform adoption, and accumulated approximately 60,000 learning hours by June 2026. The learning ecosystem is further strengthened through microlearning, mobile learning, social learning, gamification, and continuous learner recognition programs.

A cricket-themed, 21-day Learning Premier League challenge alone generated 10,632 learning hours, 645 course completions, 98,997 video lectures consumed, and 3,654 perfect quiz scores. The sustained focus on continuous learning and skill development also contributed to an approximately 20% increase in internal talent mobility, reinforcing BGSW’s commitment to building a future-ready workforce.

Learning Excellence Category

Recognizing organizations that build learning programs with real staying power — where talent development moves beyond the classroom and into measurable, meaningful business impact.

Regional Winners

Global Winner: Infosys Finacle

Finacle, the Infosys flagship digital banking platform, is reimagining how it builds the specialized engineering talent its product demands. Through the Finacle Learning Community (FLC) — a “develop, integrate, then hire” model that moves enablement into the final three semesters of engineering college, Finacle delivers production-ready engineers from Day 1, eliminating a 12-month training lag.

With Udemy as the self-directed learning backbone, FLC has developed hundreds of learners, delivering impressive ROI, and new-hire satisfaction scores.

Maximizing Impact Category

Recognizing organizations that turn learning into bottom-line results, proving that development dollars can drive revenue, savings, and strategic growth.

Regional Winners

Global Winner: Publicis Sapient

Publicis Sapient, a global technology company, used Udemy to build the Vantage Ecosystem, a delivery leadership program that connects every learning module directly to a business outcome.

Using the four-level Kirkpatrick Model for evaluating training effectiveness and Udemy’s learning analytics dashboard, the program improved completion rates from 77% to 89% and achieved a net promoter score of +82, 12 points above the world-class benchmark. Program graduates completed a capstone project, generating over €2 million in additional client scope. Across two cohorts, several of 47 graduates now lead key account relationships, turning learning directly into business results.

Skills Transformation Category

Recognizing organizations that redefine how skills are planned, developed, and deployed across the enterprise — treating talent as a living, evolving capability rather than a static job title.

Regional Winners

Global Winner: Assurant

Assurant, a Fortune 500 company operating in 21 countries, is committed to helping employees learn, grow, and thrive while building the capabilities that enable stronger performance and greater impact. As work and technology evolve, the organization saw an opportunity to create a more connected approach to capability building, linking development, career growth, mentoring, succession, and talent decisions through a common language of skills.

Assurant established a clear direction: create an enterprise skills framework, connect it to talent and development experiences, and use technology and strategic partnerships to make those experiences more relevant, accessible, and scalable. Key outcomes: 12,000+ employees / 80%+ of the workforce engaged in Power Skills development, and there was a 5x increase in mentoring scale, reaching 151 mentees and 97 mentors across 17 countries.
