The courses, including 10 Essential Techniques for Better Drawing, Baking With the Gluten-Free Girl, and Family Photography: Candid Moments & Storytelling, cover popular topics in Arts & Crafts, Drawing, Food & Beverage, and Photography. The collection is available now on Udemy.
“With a growing community of over 12 million students worldwide, Udemy is the destination to learn new skills online,” said Udemy’s VP of Content Grégory Boutté. “We’re always looking to expand our catalogue with high-quality courses that help our students enrich their lives by learning new skills, and this partnership with Craftsy enables our students to learn from the world’s best lifestyle instructors.”
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Udemy to bring our instructors’ expertise in a number of creative fields to a broader audience of hungry learners around the world,” said John Levisay, CEO at Craftsy.
Course enrollments across all categories on Udemy have grown rapidly, with the company recently surpassing 55 million all-time enrollments. While recent student enrollment data analyzed by Udemy showed that, overall, learners turn to Udemy most often for development and business courses, students are increasingly turning to Udemy for personal enrichment skills. Enrollments in lifestyle courses including Arts & Crafts and Food & Beverage topics are up 130% year over year, making it the second fastest-growing category following IT & Software.
This year, Udemy has surpassed 12 million students worldwide in more than 190 countries. With more than 40,000 courses now available in 80 different languages, Udemy offers the largest selection of online course content and is continuing to expand.
