4 edtech CEOs peer into the industry’s future
Historically, however, the United States has been slower to adopt edtech than other countries.
Udemy, a San Francisco-based learning market place last valued at $2 billion, recently released a report to give a little insight into how people around the world are learning; the company had 130% growth in enrollments in the U.S., 200% in India, 320% in Italy and 280% in Spain.
Darren Shimkus, a general manager of Udemy for Business, said that to be successful, “companies can and should have global aspirations.” But, you can’t force global expansion, he said.
