As of May 2017, Studystore, service provider in education, has partnered with Udemy, a global marketplace for learning and teaching online to offer every professional in the Netherlands an opportunity to develop in their careers, develop a personal passion, or just to learn something new.
By partnering with a marketplace for e-learning, Studystore responds to the growing need of professionals to continue learning. „We see in recent years a huge demand for online courses that you can take where and when you want it,” explains Anouk Piening, Strategy Manager at Studystore. „We are aiming to connect solutions to the needs of the market. That is why we are so pleased to announce our strategic partnership with Udemy. Offering e-learning gives professionals in the Netherlands the opportunity to continue to develop knowledge and skills. Regardless of your stage of life, in a place of your choice and at any time. With lifelong learning, we are aiming to increase the supply of adult education by offering competence-based courses in an innovative way.“
With the flexible self-study possibilities of Udemy and knowledge of Studystore, this new marketplace enables a flying start in the Dutch market for online courses for professionals. “We think that anyone looking to learn a new skill or improve existing ones should always be able to find the right teacher,” says Rich Qiu, VP of Business Development at Udemy. “With Udemy, learning is no longer something confined to the classroom. We are thrilled to partner with Studystore to make online courses on virtually every subject more accessible to busy professionals looking to reach their goals and improve their lives.”
The Udemy platform is open to everyone and offers more than 45,000 online courses taught by over 20,000 instructors in 80+ languages to more than 15 million students worldwide. This new form of education enables both professional and personal development, with courses on topics ranging from Java programming and online marketing, to photography or yoga. All Udemy courses are available on-demand and once purchased, students have lifetime access to the content so they can learn at their own pace. Courses are broken up into digestible lectures and can be viewed on the web, on a mobile device, and on Apple TV. Additionally, students are able to download and view courses offline, as well as change the video quality for low-bandwidth environments.
