An Evening of HR Innovation: Data, analytics and people
The Udemy for Business team hosts quarterly HR Innovators events to connect the brightest minds in HR from the Bay Area’s best companies, and share best practices for building and maintaining happy teams.
Last week was the sixth event of the ongoing series, and the biggest event thus far. More than 300 attendees joined us at the St. Regis Hotel in San Francisco for drinks and appetizers, networking, and an engaging panel discussion. Guests flew in from around the country to partake in the conversation centered around People Analytics – a hot topic for high growth companies as HR teams become more and more data driven.
Our panelists were Michael DeAngelo, Head of People at Pinterest, Subhadra Dutta, People Research & Analytics at Twitter, Ernest Ng, Senior Director, Employee Success, Jeremy Welland, Director of People Analytics at Pandora, and Lois Bukowski, People Operations Business Partner at Zendesk.
Stay tuned for updates on the next HR Innovators event! In the meantime, feel free to reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org to be included on our invite list for future events, or for general product inquiries.
If you’re interested in learning the basics of People Analytics, join our upcoming webinar on Thursday, August 20: People Analytics 101: A Guide to Building Your First Insight. Culture Amp’s Steven Huang, the first HR Analyst at Facebook (2011) and Square (2014), will guide us on how to build analysis with existing data and excel: no data scientist or visualization tool needed.
