Braxton Wood

Self-guided education to command your career

“You can have everything you want in your career once you take command of everything in your career."

Braxton Wood didn’t follow the traditional route with his career or how he learned. Even as he was home-schooled, he was self-directed, studying what was interesting to him. While it left him with no high school diploma or college degree, he didn’t find it a problem. He believed in looking inward for solutions, and it paid off big time.

Braxton’s secret sauce? The “bet on yourself” approach. He used his free time to learn new skills, beef up his resume, and land job interviews like a pro. Enter Udemy: the game-changer for Braxton’s career path. Courses in journalism, SEO, and social media became his toolkit for success.

But he didn’t stop there. Fueled by his Udemy experience and his ongoing successes, Braxton founded Career On Command, a career development training company. Braxton has taken to TikTok and Instagram, sharing nuggets of wisdom on career development and workplace culture. His community rallies behind him, cheering him for sharing the simple lessons he learned on his professional journey. Here, he’s on a mission to boost confidence and empower others to take control of their careers.

As Braxton puts it, “You can have everything you want in your career once you take command of everything in your career.”
