As a Director for iOS Engineering on the native apps team, you will oversee the engineering strategy for iOS native apps that will help millions of students achieve greater learning and career outcomes on Udemy, Udemy Business, and Udemy for Government. You’ll be successful by closely collaborating with engineering, products and a set of diverse stakeholders around the world. This role will report to the Head of Mobile Products and Engineering. You will be one of the key engineering leaders driving the native app strategy across various platforms like smartwatches, smart home devices, Amazon Fire TV, Roku TV etc.
You will be responsible for the management of an iOS engineering team of about 9 engineers who will report directly to you. In this role, you will be directly managing this team’s projects and set the direction for the team to align with the company’s vision. You will also be responsible for the learning and development, performance and organizational strategy of this team.
