About the Role:

The Udemy Content team delivers on our mission by leveraging our powerful marketplace content model to deliver on-demand learning that helps organizations and learners meet their upskilling goals. We are looking for a high level executor with a passion for online education to operationally manage assessment content for our subscription-based technical offering (think skill assessment for Web Development, Data Science, Cloud, Certification). You will use your operational skills and assessment content expertise to effectively manage strategic and operational aspects of Udemy’s technology assessment content program.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational program management for assessment content definition and delivery, working with vendors, Learning Design, Product, and Content Strategy teams; perform operational steps to launch assessments
  • Develop, maintain and communicate Udemy’s assessment content roadmap, aligned with overall program objectives
  • Set up and operationally manage assessment vendor business relationships, ensuring accountability for quality and timeliness; hire and manage contractors as needed
  • In collaboration with Learning Design, Product, and Content Strategy, evolve and adapt assessment delivery models and processes as needed to meet market need
  • Establish and manage assessment content customer feedback and maintenance process driven by industry changes, customer feedback, and platform data
  • Research and make recommendations for new assessment item types required for expansion into new technology topics
  • Be an expert on customer needs and competitive landscape to contribute to Udemy’s overall Assessment program value and evolution

We're excited about you because you have:

  • 4+ years of experience managing operational aspects of technology assessment and/or online learning content delivery
  • Experience setting up and managing vendor relationships, ensuring accountability for quality and timeliness
  • Strong operational executor who gets things done
  • Extensive experience defining, testing, and evolving processes to reach desired outcomes
  • Advocate for research-based learning design as foundational to all product and content decisions
  • Experience working with product, data science, learning design, content development teams and expert SMEs
  • Critical and analytical thinker who actively measures progress against metrics and adjusts strategy accordingly - excited to try new things and use customer feedback and data to course correct as needed
  • Ability to interact with and understand technical subjects
  • Strong and persuasive communicator - knows who to keep informed and when
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Minimum Salary: $100,000 + Equity + Benefits (See Below)
